Girl, Interrupted

Major buzz kill on DAY 2 of my workout. Started out fine, I was doing my warms up and then... DRAMA. I won't be getting into it, the only thing I will state are questions: What is your dignity worth? How much do you value your values? Your self worth? Can it be bought in order for you to be entertainment for the masses?

I leave you with those.

Well, DAY 3 was a busy busy day! My son's 1st birthday! :) I was suppose to get home on time to squeeze in a workout before the party but with all the running around and preparing it was impossible. I have some catching up to do, but it's nothing I can't accomplish. Today's plan is to do a two part workout, one earlier in the day when Jr takes his first (which is usually his longest) nap, and the second when he goes to sleep for the night (around 8, 8:30 PM).

  • Part ONE will be exclusively shoulders. One of my problem areas. For me it's a difficult muscle to develop, so it'll be my main focus for it will be a major factor in judging and in giving me that "V" shape I need to have.
  • Part TWO is back and triceps. I LOVE back workouts. Little she-hulk takes over in my head (No, I'm not one of those that screams in the gym). It's only a feeling of invincibility ;)

Interruptions are a part of life. Now that I'm a mom I think it makes it a bit harder to make sure nothing stops me from training... Mommy duties come first. The baby can wake up crying in the middle of my workout or he may take too long to settle down for bed. Thankfully though I have David who is helpful (although, when I hear that child cry it's hard to keep me away). That's one of the downers from working out from home. Soon though I'll be back in the gym where I can focus on myself a whole lot better.

Today is DAY 4
I'll keep you guys posted.
Tomorrow's forecast is EXTREMELY SORE.
